2000 years and we're still here! 2000 years and we're still here!

lol, but lets not forget God's perception of time isn't ours

2 Peter 3:8 - But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day

Just for a laugh let's take a peak a very few verses prior to that one.

2 Peter 3:5-6
But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water.
By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.

Spot the fail.

As for God and time, does God reside in time? if so, how can he be eternal? If he's not eternal how did he come into being? If God does not reside in time and is eternal how does he do anything? (bearing in mind that time is a measurement between moments)

There is no God.

That is your belief.

I believe there is.

Neither of us can prove the other is wrong.

Depends what you call proof? I find that once it descends into "beliefs" then any logic or reasonable level of proof no longer applies... which is convenient for one side of the argument at least.

As you can't the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Have you ever read The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster? I have been Touched by His Noodly Appendage. I hope one day the same happens to you.

I hate you spahetti monster crazies, that 'Gospel' was thrown together by a bunch of middle age morons, everyone knows that that the story of the spaghetti monster deity is complete crap. It is scary that in this modern day people like you persist with these fairy stories.
Science has long ago proven that the spahetti monster myth originated from stellar objects passing close to earths athmosphere and this was interpreted as the spaghetti monsters Godly presence.

Your ignorance both scares and amazes me...

No but atheists don't have to prove a negative, the task of proving it is in the hands of "believers". And they have nothing concrete to prove it - videos of running waterfalls and such prove nothing, especially as there is scientific reasoning behind the way the world and its natural wonders function.
