A call to arms tonight

Any chant in some parts of the ground would be welcome

I'm sure the fans there will get behind the team like they always do and it is in the not so good times that support is needed more than ever. We haven't really needed a rallying call to arms recently given our sustained success the last few years. When the 115 charges broke was probably the last time.

I wasn't being churlish in my initial post, I hope the team and Pep are roared on to a much needed victory. I just feel there is a growing undercurrent of unrest at the way loyal fans who were doing just what the OP suggested in our really dark days are now being priced out. Every club is having the same problem and loyalty has to go both ways.

As we all know the boys are massively struggling at the moment but this group of players have given absolutely everything in the last few years.
These players have had 5 consecutive seasons competing at the business end of all competitions, Just look at the trophy haul. With squad rotation not possible due to a massive injury crisis the players left standing have finally hit a brick wall and a loss of confidence.

What the lads and “Pep G” our fantastic “loyal” manager need right now is unwavering support.

Wouldnt it just be fantastic if every Blue in the stadium would singing “City till I die” and especially “we’ve got Guardiola”at the start of today’s match (and a few more times.)

We need to send a clear message that we are 100% behind Pep and the lads. We are not entitled fair weather supporters we are loyal blues who stick by our team in good times and bad.

Let’s help the lads get through this and be loud tonight. I’m sure it would e massively appreciated by Pep and the boys

Cos we’ve got………,,
"massively"? Hmm.

*reaches for ban lever*

These midweek games tend to be the better atmospheres. The hardcore lot are there and we're due a performance.

Leeds at home in 2021 was one of my favourite games in recent times. The atmosphere was crackling before we'd started to bang them in

It speaks volumes that:

1) fans have to be asked to get fully behind the team
2) most of the small number replying in this thread are hardly enthusiastic about it.

Some blame fans being priced out (there may be something in that). You could argue also that the fans are suffering from the same thing that some of our fit players seems to be, a sense of apathy to it all from too many years of success
