Mention on a recent post of Gerry Creaney got me wondering if City could actually boast a decent team of players whose surnames begin with "C". Here goes:
Joe Corrigan
Kenny Clements
Keith Curle
Tommy Caton
Gael Clichy
Lee Croft
Johnny Crossan
Nigel Clough
Jimmy Conway
Andrew Cole
Mick Channon
Bench: Tony Coton, David Cross, Bernardo Corradi, Laurent Charvet (sorry!), Lee Crooks (not a brilliant bench).
I assure younger BMs that Johnny Crossan was a very skilful player who helped us to promotion in 1966, and that Nigel Clough was very decent for Forest (if not for us).
Oddly, we have had some crap strikers beginning with "C": Conlon, Christie, Cunningham (Tony), Creaney, Wayne Clarke, Nery Castillo, perhaps even Caicedo,
