It would be more accurate if you could put a shopping trolly in one of the rivers. Maybe the medlockGeekinGav said:on the 3 rivers .... have i done the stripes:
1) too thin?
and
2) are the stripes too far apart from one another?
i just cant be sure.

you want "Manchester City" in white or the band in white?

Doesn't really work. I was just wondering which colour would work best on the actual shirt.

Maybe if the one with the white band had black/navy writing it may look better but the one on the right looks fine as do all of the others Gav has done

Maybe if the background was blue as it would be on the shirt the white one would work better.

Are you confirming a new badge is coming or just speculating?

I think if you narrow the shield (and maybe then widen the stripes a little?) the stripes might look more in proportion..?
Also the others (NYC and Heart) have navy/black writing so if we're going corporate then try that...
Also can I get the sky behind the ship a paler (sky) blue and what's with all the flags blowing the same way??? ;-)
Also not sure the maroon, though I like it, would happen so again can I get the background that in paler blue too...?
But as usual your design based on that old badge is really great Gav and the best retro style attempt I've seen by a long way.
Glad you're feeling better.
