You did well to integrate the eagle but they do indeed look odd, as you said.

could bring the wings in closer together, but then your lose detail in the wings, but the circle badge still looks smaller. it is nice though, would look good on a shirt i think.

hows about a circle with the eagle round it and the iron cross(st marks cross) in the middle,now that would give the press something to whinge about

This is very nice indeed. If I was being picky I would say there is no white in it but still a huge improvement.

the original does have white behind the shield, ^^^ was just me being bored and blingy.

Love this one, looks like a badge a Texas Ranger would show when they'd kicked the door in. Make this in metal and you'd sell thousands

with the current crest, reminds me of the POTUS crest lol

Love these with or without the stars although it looks more balanced with, maybe the MCFC, in the middle, could be replaced by 1894 or Est 1894. The latin banner could also be removed. Great effort

Looking at the 2 other crests beside each other, if we were to go that route, I'd guess that we'd keep the MCFC in the middle of the shield, a la Melbourne's crest.

Why not remove the eagle and expand the shield so the bottom half of the inner circle is the blue with the 3 white rivers and the top half is the ship and waves.
