A couple of puzzlers for the oldies (or anyone)

A couple of facts about City since World WarTwo are worthy of mote. Can anyone supply the answers?

- City played the same opponents twice at Maine Rd in the same calendar year (two different seasons), the two games yielding an incredible 19 (nineteen) goals in total. Who were our opponents?

- A post-war City player has performed the rare feat of scoring four goals in an F A Cup semi-final. Who was he? (Extra time goals or penalty shoot-outs not counted)

Anyone getting both these will win.............my respect and admiration.

We lost 5-4 at home to Newcastle in the 50's I think so go with Newcastle as the team - presume the other game was 6-4 or 7-3?

The 2nd question, is that 4 goals in one FA Cup semi or throughout different semis?
