A day of ironies

haha hope your future wife doent read bluemoon, and any pics of the engagement night :)

Sorry no pictures.

She won't be on here, she hates football. She thought it would be illegal for two brothers to play against each other...

Fans were calling him a coward, a bottler, a ****. Those fans should hang their heads in shame.

The man is a class above what many City 'fans' deserve.

I've been a season ticket holder since 1988, I'm unfortunately away celebrating my engagement in Vienna and I actually considered hoping those vile Scouse cunts won based on the behaviour of our fans in the pre match. If I could be arsed I'd dig them out and name them.

I've gone on record before on here and said, some of our fans are zn utter disgrace to City and where we've been, and shere we are going.

A class above what “many” fans deserve - what self-righteous utter fucking drivel. The fact you decided to go and celebrate your engagement would be sufficient to know how much a true blue you are, but you then compound it by saying you considered hoping City lost a final. Do us all a favour will you? Spend the rest of your Saturdays shopping with your dear missus. We won’t miss you.

Yes, because I deliberately booked a trip away 3 months ago to miss the league cup final. If it's all the same I'll continue to support City and I'll continue to believe fans who label their own manager a **** as utter dicks, deserving of non of the success he brings.

You're right though, I should have just binned off my engagement, tossed the ring in the Ship canal, lost flight and hotel money to attend one game. A game that my points were used by a good friend who can no longer afford a season ticket.

Perhaps you consider it ok for a fan calling himself CTID to call our manager a **** and say he's not going to bother watching. For me, a lot of the fans on here are utter clowns who have probably never attended a game. They don't deserve to enjoy what City bring to them.

As for your very strange attack on me, I bet you feel really good. We've crossed paths before and you came across a little over aggressive and thick then. You can continue to defend fans who call our manager a **** or a shithouse, I'll continue to follow City home and abroad, with some true blues. I'll also continue to enjoy my life. Something I'm guessing you do very little of.

The best bit, which will escape you, the name of the thread you're attacking me on. Oh the irony....

You need to start looking at your own posts and the amount of absolute unsubstantiated toss that you’ve written. I haven’t once defended any fan that’s called our manager a ****, nor would I. You’ve gone on to generalise (again) making the tiresome point that “a lot of the fans on here are utter clowns” - really? A lot? Regardless of how many clowns we have, and yes, like all clubs and forums, there are some, you then considered hoping we’d lose the final. And why? Because some people posted pisspoor comments on a website. Sorry, but that’s being one, unalloyed smacked arse.

I’m pleased for your engagement, great, glad you had a good time. I hope you continue to follow City home and abroad, as I will. Just spare us the bollocks about hoping we lose. No fan would or should EVER consider that.

As for “attacking” - get a grip, I’ve called you to task for making ill-grounded, factless sweeping generalisations.

Finally, “I’ll continue to enjoy my life. Something I guess you do very little of.” I don’t enjoy your life. Or did you mean something else? Semantics/thick - the irony.

If you don't think it's a lot, I suggest you go back a few pages and read the pre match. Read from where the team is announced, if the conduct of a few fans doesn't make your blood boil I'd be surprised.

I much like you as a game going fan have little experience of the 'pre match' near KO as I'm normally there or en route.

As I had to use pre match for teams, build up I was literally appalled by more than a few 'fans'.

City fans are in the main a great bunch, I don't agree with all, but with many you can tell they care and are supporting how they see fit.
I have crossed swords with Neville Kneville et Al several times, I don't agree with them, they don't agree with me. But we all agree to wanting what is best for City.

As I say, have a flick through the pre match and I'm sure you'll share my thoughts on many a 'fan'.

I'd like to say I'd be at Anfield Wednesday, but after the LC semi a few years back I vowed never to set foot in that shithole again.

Not allowed in, crushed, missing 20 minutes then a choice between not being able to see or being spat at for the remainder of the game, not for me.

I agree with most of what you’ve written - some of the stuff written on here was shameful and those writing it are right to be called out on it. My main “beef” was that you considered hoping we’d lose. I doubt you actually, genuinely would want that to happen - I can’t honestly think of one game I’d want us to lose. Ever. No matter how much rubbish is spewed from the mouths of fans beforehand.

I understand your position on Anfield, I too was one who had to stay outside on some spurious bollocks from Merseyside’s finest that night. I’ll be there on Wednesday - if not just to gloat at the shower of self-congratulating, smug cunts that believe they’re something special. They ain’t.

I would obviously never want us to lose. I would love us to shed a few of the dickheads in and out of the stadium though. Even if the seat counters over at the MUEN needed a new red marker.
I think our fans are what made us so well liked, I personally enjoyed the underdog role at school. Most of my mates were City and the better players on the play ground were all City. The United kids, as you'd expect all the gear and no idea. Bryan Robson shin pads, all their replica tat, could trap a bag of cement as they say. It was the banter with the City fans I enjoyed. At one point in our mid teens there were 11 of us with season tickets.

I love our fans in general. Just lately on here and unfortunately in the ground the number of dick heads is growing. Ya Ya's a lazy cnut Pellegrini's a shit cnut, Sterling's a faggot. I personally heard that vs Spurs. I won't even get on to Kolarov. It's frankly disgusting, I fully appreciate you're going to get the odd pissed up, coked up kids shouting shite but we're getting fully grown dick heads.

As I say, to read the pre match was appalling and I can say I was stunned. Those fans are the ones I beliebe don't deserve to enjoy our success. I'm not going to say I was at York away, but I have been to Doncaster for a pre season friendly, I've not been on a ferry to the Faroe Isles but I have got to Barnsley at half time with us already 2-0 up. That was on a 'date'. Weirdly enough not who I'm marrying.

If I come across as precious or obnoxious it's because I can stand Rags or Scousers slagging the club I've loved for nearly 30 years, so I'm not going to let supposed City 'fans' just spout their shite, now it's only a forum so I can only try and belittle them as there's little other way of dealing with them.

I have no issue with fans not liking the players I do, I have no issue with fans disagreeing with managers or players. This is a forum, discussion is what makes it tick. Take Ya Ya I'd happily agree that there are potential defensive frailties, that sometime his attitude is questionable. I'm happy to debate aspects of any players game. I've played at a decent standard, I was coached at City in the mid 90's. I've even played a few games for Sammy McIlroy. But I'm not going to debate weather Ya Ya is a fat lazy c#%t or weather our manager is a clueless old c#%t.

If I come across as obnoxious it's probably because I'm debating with someone swearing at me, calling me an idiot. At the same time calling our manager clueless, a man who been in football for over 50 years at the top level.

Good post mate
And these 'fans', as you put it, have been regulars for years but their sense of entitlement is stopping them enjoy the ride
