I am writing this from my hotel in Pisa Italy where I am on Holiday about 3 hours ago me and the Mrs were out for a pre lunch stroll when Lo and behold Lippi was doing a film shoot for a fashion house,in a Piazza. They stopped for lunch I assume all headed for a Trattoria next door so did we..after a few glasses of house vino..I approached the great man for a few words...wow he speaks great english and he is fully aware of what MCFC are tring to do,but for me the best bit was he said or words to the effect that to expect big changes this summer...

Saw Lippi in Siena last year when he was going in for a meeting with Sepp Blatter I think it was. He looked well old.

What did you have on your pizza then?

It wasn't Blatter sorry, it was Franz Beckenbaur and he was alongside Lippi, Gianni Rivera, Luca Pancalli. I don't know what it was for and I've got a picture but due to work blocking sites I can't upload it - the text though is as follows:

Comune Di Siena
Promosso Dalla Fondazione Artemio Franci eda AIA Se (rest of text cut off at this point)
Martedi 6 Maggio 2008
Spedale Santa Maria Della Scala
Piazza Duomo - Siena

Don't know what type of meeting it was, but might be able to find out from that if anyone can translate. Don't know who the other people are either.
