A fit adebayor or a fit RSC?

Fit RSC, at least RSC has some drive and interest. Adebayor even if fit you aren't guaranteed 100% effort from the lad.

He's consistent alright, look at his career stats, other than his one stand out season he's been consistently shit.

Thats not really fair. At Munich he was behind Makaay and Pizarro. One could easily argue that the one season where he got plenty of playing time he showed his worth. In other words your stats always look like shit when you are a late sub or on the bench.

Part of the reason Roque pisses me off so much is when we bring him on with 7 minutes to go. Whats the bloody point? Which isn't his fault to be fair.

OK we're not playing well, let's bring on someone who hasn't ever played well in a game for us, and see if he can single handedly turn the game around. Hughes did it, Mancini does it, and it's annoyingly pointless.

Adebayor, better finisher.

If were talking in terms of effort, then RSC.

overall ade is the better player, he just doesn't show it.

personally i would of had Dzeko in and Ade out this window.

when i saw this thread i thought it was a joke...

rsc is never "fit" anyways, the guy will need a zimmer-frame by the time he hits 30.

shittest thread up to now
well done :)

Depends. If Adebayor is on a rare, hard working day then definitely him. But on all other occasions I think RSC would be more effective.

I sometimes think the past has clouded our judgement, you know, when effort over skill ruled our heads.

We want effort, no matter that it is ineffective, we just want to see people running around like headless chickens, putting the effort in, but ultimately, not achieving very much.

We all loved Danny Tiatto and Paul Dickov for their effort and commitment, but, at the end of the day, they were not really that good as footballers. We loved them, though.

Now we have a player like Adebayor on our books, who has consistently scored a goal every other game in the Premier League, with Arsenal and City, and he is not committed enough, he is a lazy twat who doesn't run around enough.

He will never be a hero because at times he looks a bit, you know, not up for the cause, but he scores goals, like Anelka did.

What do people want?

Dickov, or Adebayor?

I know who I'd rather be watching.

Adebayor is quality, but he has to be in the right frame of mind, which is very disappointing :/ RSC when fit can also be a very useful player, but he is rarely fit, again very disappointing. If they are both willing to push themselves to fit into the team them I am happy, otherwise we will have to let them go. atm it seems like RSC is more interested in trying to work with the team whereas ade is slightly sulking. I really hope Ade can change his attidude, cos he is up there with the best ;)
if i've made no sense it's as a result of a sister (username: "FOTN" pressuring me into drinking :p ;)
