A guy lives on he 68th floor of a block of flats. Each morning at 8.35 takes the lift down to the ground floor and walks to. At 6.05 he returns home but only takes the lift up to the 22nd floor and then walks up the stairs the ret of the way. Why?

(and it's nothing to do with wanting/needing exercise).

1. He's insane. Or stupid. Or superstitious. Probably all three.
2. A really fat, smelly, wierd guy gets on at floor 22 every evening.
3. He hates his wife and doesn't want to go home.
4. All the other buttons are broken.
5. He is breaking in his shoes. Every night.
6. He's a postman and the floors above 22 are part of his afternoon round.
7. He likes the view.
8. It gives him time to think up riddles like this.
9. He would walk the whole way but there's a guy on 21 who he owes money.
10. Nah, turns out he's just stupid.
