Ivan is great he has had a go at Phil Thompson a couple of weeks ago. Giving him a right kicking about him slating City over the takeover yet they would love to be taken over by anyone and them looking for anybody to take them over pre there take over.

The thing which sticks in the craw of people like Thompson and Crerand is that they are desperate for someone of the Sheikh's financial calibre to take over their clubs. And were that kind of money to be injected, the arguments would be the same - players coming to LFC and MANUre because they chose tradition and history over money.
I think that the vast, overwhelming, football universe is of a similar opinion in that these two apologists for their club do more harm than good. They single-handedly turn their respective clubs into a laughing stock more than any other collection of a dozen other fans. Has either of them ever considered what an ounce of reason would do with their arguments? No, 'cos LFC and MANUre in the eyes of Thompson and Crerand are above anything, anyone and anywhere!

I have offen wonder if Ivan ever came on this website he is great at sticking up for City through the bad and good times.
As for the two clowns he has on his show from time to time pro Liverpool / Rags fair enough but try and answer the questions put to you and not turn it to money or the history of there clubs.

Crerand is a joke - he's in denial like most of the rags. He better get used of be 2nd best to City. Onward and Upwards for us Blues!
