i don't know why, but my vision of you was based in London, especially with our horrendous transport system meaning you would never go 'up north'

You wouldn't move to Liverpool? Manchester Met is a good enough Uni (I speak from experience) but if Liverpool was the preferred choice then I'd sure 3 years living there wouldn't be as bad as some might make it out to be.

No mate had a long hard think about it and would prefer to stay at home.

I think the full University experience is had when you're living away. Parties, nights out and living in Halls or a House with other Students. I met some real characters in my time.
