I hope you don't mind me mentioning it.

This Is How It Felt To Be City - a 2011/12 Season Review

£2.50 on Kindle (only, sadly)

The 2011/12 English Premier League football season provided one of the most thrilling climaxes to a title race in the history of the game. For Manchester City, Sergio Aguero's injury-time winner capped off a roller-coaster season for the club, that cuminated in their first top-level title in 44 years. Through the articles written by the author throughout the year, as the club moved from one controversy to another, you can relive the most amazing of seasons.

I always said that if City won the league i would collect together the articles I had written about City over the past year (for the bluemoon podcast and footballfancast), and collate together to give a season review, without the boring match reports. In the end. City provided the perfect story, with the perfect ending. Starting with our FA Cup triupmh last year, I run through until the amazing climax.

And it's only the price of a pint (or a pint of Holts and a packet of pork scratchings).

(or try the free sample!)

cheers

Howard

Looking forward to reading it Howard. Enjoyed all of your articles that I read during the season, but probably missed a few.

Thanks Ric, the story wrote itself - drug bans, fall-outs, strikes, bans, and a pretty good finish.

Oh and there are player ratings, quotes from the season from our biggest detractors and older articles written after the takeover

(that's it, no more posts!)

There have been more City books come out this summer than at any other time in the club's history. I suppose it's a combination of our success and the relative ease of self-publishing.

Good luck Howard and to anyone doing it. I hope you cover costs.

Well it is a good story - and the articles had already been written!

No costs nor money made on the physical book, but it's nice to have people (anyone!) read yoor stuff.

Thanks.

just finished the book and it is very enjoyable a few more city stories through the season would have been good , it is a bit of a punk rock book ie no chapters and a few mistakes and it is more blog stories but i dont like rules so i like it I could have done without the stories at the end .
8/10
