Gomez is even more limited than Dzeko as a footballer, the way we play he'd be hopeless compared to what he's capable of. We need a pacey and powerful forward with good intelligence/movement. Cavani will be perfect if he can adapt to our style of play (which I hope the scouts have thoroughly researched before we break our transfer record on him).

It's the reckoning of many and quotes to boot. Napoli already lined up young replacement from Sampdoria. Cavani to us, Dzeko to replace Lewandowski at Dortmund who's just agreed to go to Bayern. Huge movement and I for one look forward to seeing Cavani in our league against the terrible defences.

The biggest issue with all of these "merry go round" scenarios is that they rarely have any positive effect on a club. Why sell Aguero for a new player who needs to learn the system and similarly Dzeko. Our issue really isn't our strike force. It's that our creativity runs through one player. I love James Milner, but he is not a Real Madrid/Barcelona/Bayern level player. We need someone similar to the likes of Hazard without all of the ball boy kicking. We lack pace, will to run at defenders and creativity. We play a very dicey game lately of being opportunists. And that is simply not good enough.

Have people actually seen Gomez play he is seriously one of the worst pub playing center forwards ever. He never runs only sits in the box he wobbles around falls (essentially dzeko). but what he lacks in actual footballing ability he makes up for in pure scoring and is a natural finisher. So wanting to sign Gomez will lead to the same issues . Gomez cant play 1-2s tippy tappy shit. and he thrives on service which we dont do at all. I disagree he is Barca,Madrid,Bayern quality. He can play everywhere to a super high level. Defends goes forward. His final ball yes is lacking(more inconsistent) when he plays on the wings(even though he set up dzeko with a fantastic ball). And i agree with the pace we should get Walcot or go for bains pace,skill, and a deadly final ball.
