A message of support to the City players ahead of Saturday..

In my 34 years on this planet I've had many ups and downs, but the one constant thing has been Manchester City F.C. I've followed them through the good times and bad, and never wavered in my love and support of my beloved blues. Though many people of my generation haven't seen us achieve too much success, our loyalty has been unbounded, with the dream that our time is just around the corner. In the face of constant mocking and sneering from that lot from the dark side, we have held our heads high, and defended our blue shirted hero's to the hilt. Before my grandad passed away, he would always tell me "don't worry son your time is coming I promise" he always believed that one day, we would have a great team that would bring back the good times. I truly believe this team is you, it's in your hands, you can make history, you have the chance to make Manchester City F.C a force to be reckoned with again. You'll also have 32000 passionate blues behind you, kicking every ball with you. Our time has come.

All the fans ask is that you give your all, and we'll all be right behind you whatever the result when we play Blackburn and West Ham

Do it for yourselves, as professional footballers games like these are the ones you must savour the most.
Do it for your friends and family and the pride they'll get in seeing you walk out in a Final at Wembley.
Do it for your team mates that can't play due to injuries etc, they'd love to be a part of it, you have that chance.
Do it for payback for every bad refereeing decision or last minute defeat we've had against united in the past, this is your chance to put that right.
Do it for the fans who'll have long journeys to and from Wembley and will have spent vast amounts of money on tickets and transport.
Do it for the fans who can't make it, who are gutted that they'll be missing it but will be willing you on from wherever they watch it.
Do it in spite of the critics that try to undermine what everyone at the club is working so hard to achieve. City reaching the FA Cup final, beating united in the process will go a long way to proving to everyone this team is the real deal.

On Sunday morning, whether we win or lose ensure you can look at yourself in the mirror and know there was nothing more you could have done to win that game.

Remember, all the fans dream of playing for this great club, especially at Wembley, you have that opportunity, Play as we dream.

PS - Please shoot, goals win games and you can't win if you don't score, make their goalkeeper earn his money.

It's the mirror test, lads ....

Nothing more, nothing less

You can win this game.........

Make yourselves City legends

My next door neighbour is a dirty stinking rag who i don't think has ever been to a game. Please don't let him be able to have that annoying smurk on his fat face on my return from wembley. That is all i ask cheers

Bell, lee and summerbee are waiting to be dethroned
You all have the chance to go in the city history books as the next set of heroes
You all know you are capable
Please please make us do the poznan more than once

I'm 20 years old, and although I have never seen my team lift a cup, I have often felt pride for my club, pride in supporters, players, performances. The kind of pride that makes me want to grab people in the street and say: "I'm a City fan and I want the world to know."

The years have been long and torturous on the many fans like me. Every day, we talk to United fans, Arsenal fans, Chelsea fans, Liverpool fans. Every day, we have to put up with their patronising remarks. Every day we stand up tall, look them in the eye and tell them: "You'll never understand what it's like to be blue."

Many of us have waited our whole lives, for one moment which has never arrived, never giving up hope, always filled with optimism. We never ask when our loyalty will be rewarded. We don't expect much in return. All we ask is that every man wearing sky blue goes out there and wears their heart on their sleeve, like thousands of us do every day.

Our heads never drop, through disappointment, untold joy, anger, relief. Every day, we stand up tall...

So stand up tall City, for everybody out there who's been waiting for that moment, that elation, that retribution. Stand up tall, look them in the eye, and scream your heart out:

"We are Manchester City, and we want the world to know!"
