I think that Ric or someone should thank the club directly from us the fans and let them know how appreciated they are by us.

I think they'll have an idea soon; have you seen the size of that feckin' banner?

Seen it on here but not the size... Guess it's huge then eh, lol. Love the idea of getting the backroom staff onto the pitch, so as fans we can say thank you to them directly. Plus I'm sure the owner could fly in Via heli and park it just outside the ground to say hi then pop back off with minimal fuss? I am so proud of our club at the moment and I have never been so happy to be a blue.

I'm just wondering, has anyone emailed the club to ask when Sheikh Mansour will be coming to a game? If so, did you get a response? If nobody has emailed them about it, then i'm going to send them one.

I honestly cannot wait for the moment that he is introduced on the PA system with him being beamed on the 2 big screens. The hairs are standing up on the back of my neck now just thinking about it.

Superb post Nixon. Every part of that is spot on. Its times like this when we realise we really do support the best club in the world. Its a really exciting time to be a city fan and the club have done a lot to ensure that we can feel a big part of it as the interaction with the fans is superb. Ever since the takeover the club seems to have got everything spot on (apart from getting chicken balti pies with sultanas in them).

I knew that there had to be a reason for all the bad times, the unprofessionalism, the let downs, the injustices, well now we know why - it was so we could totally appreciate, admire and be as proud as we are now.
Irrespective of what happens this season - thank you Sheikh Mansour for your integrity dignity and backing, thank you Mr Cook for you professional dignified wholehearted endeavours, thank you Ms Kloss for the up-hill unenviable task of trying to get the press onside (grean shoots there now).

I have asked; awaiting reply - could be difficult for them, though, security arrangements and all that palaver - there's a lot to organise I guess - it's not as though he can just get the bus to Mary Ds!

ha ha imagine the carnage in MAry D's ! I have a feeling they wouldnt make it public if he were to visit due to the security, probably just do it. It would be superb if he was to be there on Saturday but if not then Cooke and Khaldoon deserve a very special acknowledgement !
