A message to Villa fans

nothing to do with us.

It could have been anyone wanting to buy their players and if the board accept and the manager sees his arse its going to come to ahead. If its true their season ticket sales are down 40% then its a simple matter of economics and the reason for selling is valid.
Unfortunately most fans don't see it like that - especially when they see whats happened to us.

Never liked them, they look like West Ham and have tried to be snotty about players coming to us.

So they can fuck off.

The bitterness wafting out of Villa Park the last few years towards City has been second only to 'The People's Club'... culminating with the Barry saga and the implication he was taking a step DOWN joining City for the money (how's that working out now Villa fans?).

Then we have all the patronising rubbish about Saint Randy Lerner, Acorns etc. etc. and how Villa are a model club compared to City, who are the devil's spawn. Until we learn Villa have spent way beyond their means to finish 5th / 6th and are now up to their arses in it... cue O' Neill having a hissy fit when he finds out Lerner wants to balance the books.

Sorry, no sympathy from me for club, fans or manager. Seems like a decent bloke but he wasn't taking them any further, Lerner is a phoney and their fans burned all bridges with us over the s~hit treatment dished out to a long time Villa servant (Barry). Say hello to lower mid-table Villa, that's for waving those tenners....

Bit dramatic that, they'll get a new manager quickly and everyone will move on. You should probably just speak for yourself in future - and I doubt Villa fans will appreciate the sentiments either. Nice thought though OP.

I'm sure were all sorry about MON leaving you, and if it did have something to do with Milner then I'm sure were all even more sorry.

Non of us like it when stuff like this happens to teams (except one team ofcorse, lol) and we all hope you find a new manager that will continue your stunning form, although we all know MON will be a hard man to replace, I have always regarded him THE best English manager of this time.

No hard feelings and please don't bare a grudge, it's not anyones fault, nit Milners, nit Mancinis, nit anyones.

We all wish Villa the best of luck, and hope to be challanging eachother for that top 4 finish, I will always back Villa against other clubs, as long as it doesn't put us in the shit ;)

No hard feelings.
WTF!
Villa were spending dough before us.
O'Neil has spat his dummy out before.
I couldn't give a shit about Villa.
Finally, O'Neil isn't English you twerp!

ffs, i hope no one is trying to say we would be sweetness and light if the shoe was on the other foot.

most on here didnt have a good word for 4 time player of the year dunnie who looked like he had been kicked out.

yes do feel sorry for villa because but for our great fortune of being picked by our present owners, we too would be having to sell our best players.

I was speaking for myself mate, "Sorry, no sympathy from me"

And I'm not arsed if Villa fans appreciate the sentiment - I didn't appreciate their sentiments towards Barry last season..

I know this might sound a bit daft but the real culprit in this is Platini and before anyone starts accusing me of off me rocker let me try and explain.

1) Some time back Platini wanted a European League without any form of relegation and the teams to participate would be by invitation only.

2) As for the type of teams to take part they would have been the so called sky 4 i.e. Liverpool, Rags, Chelski and Arsenal (there were suggestions Chelski could be excluded)

3) That idea was binned because once in the so called cartel there would be no chance for anyone else removing competition from the leagues.

4) Instead of that idea Platini got cute, so he has introduced the financial fair play instead, don't forget this is based on turnover and not whether you are in debt etc., enough pages on this forum have been devoted to it.

5) In reality these fair play rules when they come in effectively mean whoever is in the champions league spots in 2 years time will be almost guaranteed that status for evermore because the financial rewards for playing in CL will be so much greater, the winners pick up something like 60m to get into the group stages earns you 40m, that is equivalent to sky money. The more money you have allows for paying higher wages, signing better players keeping the staus quo which in turn allows you to stay in CL. Any team not in CL in two years when these rules come into play will never get there and I include the Rags if they miss out because turnover won't allow it.

So why do I think Platini is at fault for MON's sacking well MON wanted to get in CL but they have to operate within the rules laid down ie turnover and breaking even, no doubt MON wanted to use the cash for investment of players to challenge top 4 whereas if you believe the rumours Learner wanted some of the cash to reduce deficit. In other words Platinis rules are having a marked effect on the transfer system now.

All true. But do Villa fans need us to tell them that? I'd buy one a pint in real life. But come on our forum, and I'm going to make fun of them.

What did you do with the real r.sole?
