Was pleased they stayed behind to clap their team off, unlike some eh?
Was in a boozer after the game not far from Baker Street enjoying good banter with the Stokies, they were made up to have been in the final, plus looking forward to the Europa League.
We'd sat there for an hour or so exchanging pleasantries, when several in their group started lobbing bit of food/rubbish/ice cubes in our direction, whilst singing that song of theirs about "Bread?". One of our group decided to throw some water in their direction and all hell let loose, beer was chucked over us and threats were made to all our group, including 3 children in our party (aged 15,11 and 9). The pub was split 70%/30% in Stoke's favour.
Fortunately after much apologising by us (we shouldn't have thrown the water but it was done in repsonse to their antics and meant as a bit of fun) and calming all the dick heads down (fair play to the other sensible Stoke) we headed off unscathed.
