A new city badge?

I like the badge we have, I would say the only limitation is that we don't quite yet have the brand awareness and I would like to see our full name incorporated into the badge somehow.

I have noticed a number of times when abroad wearing the shirt and you can literally see people staring at the badge to identify which team it is and MCFC just isn't enough.

I have to say the new one, esp on the new kit has grown on me this season. I've been a staunch supporter of the old one until now but now I'm not so sure...

But, because the "new" one is relatively new then a redesign/hybrid might work. At the moment I trust City and UMBRO, if they're involved, to probably get it right.

That's becuase it's embroidered and not a cheap badge sewn on. It does look better because of that but it's still ameteur.

Personally I like the old roundel AND the new badge.
I don't seer the point of change for changes sake.
What are we going to do, change it every 10 years because half of the people don't like it? We'll end up a laughing stock.
I have the new one tattooed on my leg, it wouldn't bother me if it is changed, but only to the old style one, I'll just get that one done too.
Totally agree about the stars tho, they should go as they are for appearance only, does seem rather sad.
I love the new shirts and think they look the bollocks with the new badge on, same as my retro one with the roundel.
Don't recall too many whingeing about the new badge when the new shirts came out.
back to the old badge or keep this one, anything else would be a joke IMO.

I too have got all 3 shirts this season,but the old short sleave 70's shirt with the old badge is to me the most iconic ever, and if the badge was changed back to the old 70's one, i would happily go out next season and buy all 3 shirts over again without the slightest doubt.I also know this,whatever city decide,i will wear it as always with a heart full of pride.

Personally I think we do need a new badge, not for the sake of it, but because the current badge doesn't say enough about us. If we were a brand, which I suppose we are but as fans we don't see it like that, then our badge/logo is a failure as it has elements that don't represent us (the stars & eagles to name two). So new badge please City!!!!... and no more silly Eagles... representations of Manchester like the 3 stripes (rivers), red rose and or ships will do me.
