A New Topic: Gerrard

If we keep this thread going I wonder how long it would take before the Mirror start writing about us after him LOL..

Are we weak on the left?

Defence:

Bridge
Sylvinho
Lescott (if need be)
and the young lads

Defensive mid:

Kompany
Dejong
BARRY

Atacking mid:

Petrov
Robinho
Weiss or SWP too as we know they swap in game for periods anyway

Gerrard plays CENTRE of a midfield/box to box too so erm...IRELAND? BARRY?

EPIC FAIL

I reckon if we strolled down the East Lancs and said, 'here's 100 mill for Gerrard and Torres' Hicks would bite our hands off.

It won't happen though!

I think Torres could come in January. Don't want Gerrard though, he'd have been better on the pitch at Upton Park last night.

I think we could win the league with gerrard ....a brilliant player , a pure winner , shoots a 30yard goal which we havent got . Ive been hearing gerrards name for a few days .I remeber an article in which it said "The sheiks wanted the heart of england ie john terry "the next best thing from him is gerrard

Hes an utter twat dont ever want to see him in a City shirt.

jesus christ....what a f**king balloon you are.................

Why is he ? there are plenty of people who feel the same - me included. Ask yourself this; if after we had signed Robinho how would you have reacted if he had turned around a few months later and said he wanted to return to South America in the summer and play for Santos for a few months. That is what Beckham has done at LA; His argument is he wanted to play in Europe so he could keep his place with England. well you know what, he should never have made the decision to go the the US in the first place - his mistake... Never said anything positive about City too. Only one team in Manchester blah blah.

Ha Ha, think we'd need more than that £100m though, bud!

Torres would be at least same monetary level as Ronaldo at £80m.

Gerrard, £50m upwards.

You don't get much change out of £130m easily.

For that, you could pick up players we acutally could do with in terms of positions.

Xavi or Iniesta - £40m
Yaya - £30m
Ribery - £60m
