Couldn't care less about looking small time.
I'd rather look like a "small time" club that actually still gets excited about winning a trophy than a group of supporters that take it for granted and don't appreciate it.

exactly

may the excitement never diminish

IF etc......

Bollocks to this thread, City fans have always done pitch invasions, it's
a great way to celebrate a good season, it used to be a tradition until we moved
from Maine Road & the one two years ago was well over due.

I'm going on if others are.

Not on the last game at Maine Road it didn't

The club had so much entertainment a pitch invasion really would have
thrown a spanner in the works for the musicians etc.

They set up a perimeter of a solid line of stewards & police which wouldn't
have looked out of place in Eastern Europe.

I remember loads moaning & trying to get on but it was impossible.

It wasn't impossible... ;-)

Soz I was a good boy last time listened to the tannoy announcements and did not invade the pitch!!!

Not this time I'm going on!!!!

Is there any way to get down from level 2 that doesn't involve risking my life?

i could do with knowing this aswell if any one can help.
There are stairs that have access to the three levels. I can't remember what part of the ground exactly but I'm sure if you look around you'll find em!

Look small time if we run on the pitch again, fair enough last time. Its not passion running on the pitch its just knobheads with nothing between the ears.

I imagine the pitch runners are generally non season tickets holders had too many sherberts on their day out and complained about how much they had to pay for their ticket...

The opposite - its the glory hunting knobs who run on the pitch!!!!

Sorry op you sound very miserable. I didn't ruin anything the last time we did it and the only ones that didn't like it seeed to be moaning on here

It's small time to show passion, no wonder the atmosphere has been shit. The only reason united or say chelsea don't do it is because most of there match going fans are glory hunting knobs who sit in silence, maybe we should do the same

Come on everyone pitch invasion !!!!!!

Everything in moderation.
I didn't go on the pitch last time but I'm in Row X so didn't really feel the need to run the wrath of the stewards and risk missing the main event of seeing the trophy lifted.
But I can understand others getting swept along with the moment.
What pissed me off though was after about 15 minutes the ones who simply would not come off despite it clearly being the will of the majority.
I got the impression they didn't give a shit and wanted to make it all about themselves. Very typical of a certain mindset.
So those who are going on, have your fun but don't over stay your welcome, the rest of us didn't come to see you giving a steward the run around and when you hear the chant of off....get the fuck off.

Fuck me,you could give me a good run for wumming !!!

No! You have said dont run on the pitch = I will. Dont fucking tell a city fan or manc (when I say that I mean non football supporter's) what to do.

I only have a 1 big toe and an irregular heart beat due to taps and sockets

To be honest in 2012 none of us knew what the fuck to do once "that goal" went in.
It was the most surreal moment I've ever witnessed.
The passion and emotion under those circumstances got the better of everyone and you can't blame anyone for being giddy as fuck.
I'd have gone straight on the pitch had I not had 3 slipped discs in my spine at the time.

I can see Sunday being different. The pitch invasion in 2012 was a spur of the moment thing and I can't see it happening again on Sunday, not to that extent anyway. There will be one or two no doubt. But as someone said further up I can see there being more stewards pitch side to keep control of things this time.
I don't think any of us expected a pitch invasion like that when we won it?

Hope im kissing the pitch again like in 2012 :) ill be going on again for a lap if we win it !!!
