A plea to our fans ... please don`t go onto the pitch.

Bollocks to this thread, City fans have always done pitch invasions, it's
a great way to celebrate a good season, it used to be a tradition until we moved
from Maine Road & the one two years ago was well over due.

I'm going on if others are.

My view is IF we win it there will be a pitch invasion. It is the City way.
Personally I'd prefer it if there wasn't and the players quickly reappeared (unlikely) to do a lap of honour with the LC
whilst the stage was being erected. The reality is the players will want some time alone and some of the fans will want
to come on the pitch. I don't think it's a big deal either way. Let's just bloody win the thing.

Does anyone remember that black guy shout in the camera were the guvnors hahah

He said 'we're the pride of manchester' not 'we're the Guvnor's'

Bit of a stereotype ay.
Actually he said "We're the Guvnors ...we're the pride of Manchester"

I'll bet anyone a match ticket for Sunday that's exactly what he said !

Getting beat 1 nil off Southampton didn't really leave anyone in the mood to celebrate with a pitch invasion. Wigan and Birmingham at home were quality ones though, its a special feeling being stood on the pitch in celebration with the stands full of supporters.

Whats with the don't do this or that police yesterday and today?
Let everyone experience this how they want to.Flapping, crying, laughing, or going on the pitch, its their experience let them have it how they like
If we win we will all be happy

The club had so much entertainment a pitch invasion really would have
thrown a spanner in the works for the musicians etc.

They set up a perimeter of a solid line of stewards & police which wouldn't
have looked out of place in Eastern Europe.

I remember loads moaning & trying to get on but it was impossible.
