I feel as bad about today as anybody, but could it be the massive kick up the arse we need and when the rags drop points(or should i say if) maybe that 1 point will make the difference? I live in hope!

it could be yet mate

lets not give up just yet

that blackburn won at the swamp and are scrapping for survival

if the cunts go there and win then I fear we may only progress to second, but if not then game on

I admit it is a bit more in hope now but i still believe we can do it mate yes.

This was 2 points lost though imo, our rock solid home form was the only thing shielding us from the glare of our dismal away chance conversion rate.

I think if we had won today we had a good chance. It would have put the pressure on Utd at Blackburn. Now they can go their in some comfort.

It's not an easy game, and there is some hope

In fact if we beat Arsenal and utd, then Utd might have to win away at Sunderland

Can you see us winning at Arsenal with half a team out. More likely we'll get turned over. But if we win there we can take it to the last day

Didnt see the game Monday night but Utd didnt sound that great and even Alex(we're not nervous about the run in)Ferguson said his players were nervous. Lets hope they were watching todays game and at 1-3 they were thinking its all over and when we got back to 3-3 they sagged again.

Hope you're right.

But it not so much the points as the fact that for 75 mins we played like a cuncher bunts. It's difficult to see what's going to change that will get us playing at something resembling our normal levels.

It just needs that one spark. A fully fit David S wouldn't go amiss right now.

Missed Barry's passing. And Nasri. And Aguero. Would have won with Aguero

I think I might have over-reacted. Rags still have to win their game if they are to take advantage of the Sunderland result. It is by no means inevitable that they will do so. As for a point gained, they would have to lose on Monday before we could say that.

It isn't so much the statistics as how we are actually playing that I think is the worry.

Don't want to put a downer on a positive thread. We CAN still do it providing United slip up, but we're gonna have to get our bloody act together and quick.
