Scooby Blue said:I think the "problem" we all had inside the ground... was separating the "achievement" of finally winning the league...from the "dramatic fashion" in which we ended up doing it.
I was so concerned with the impact that not beating QPR might have on morale for next season, the project, Mancini, etc that the eventual adrenalin rush of those crazy last few minutes left me in a daze + everything became a bit of a blur.
...the drama of scoring two such late goals only really began to sink in later...and I definitely agree that fans watching on tv in pubs + bars probably had a better sense of the magic moment in football history that we had just created.

I'm so glad to read so many in this thread saying they were a bit dazed and it didn't feel like they thought it would at the time! Thought it was just me!
It's me and my mum who are season ticket for 25 years, and for us there, when we got the 2nd goal and it all went mad, after that minute instead of crying i just seemed to go quite numb, like it wasn't real, was it real? Is this really happening? etc etc. And as we dont have sky i still havent seen the play back of all the postmatch stuff/last 20 min of match - apart from youtube clips on bluemoon!
My sister on the other hand went to dads side of the family and trooped off up to our aunts 30 miles away (who hasn't set foot at city for about 30 years but hey...!) (and who doesn't really keep in touch - but she had sky so off they went!) - and they were leaping around and crying and really soaking it in.
So i totally agree that although i wouldnt swap being at the match for anything, i do think those watching on telly may have had that little bit more sense of what it was or the emotion etc. My sister still cant understand how i didnt cry at the match! I said i was numb! I was sat in desolation for most of the 2nd half and that sudden change has nearly killed me!
