If Hughes is axed we are going to need a top top quality manager not just to turn things around on the pitch etc but also to attract players to the Club that might not necessarily be turned on by the money and would ideally prefer to be playing in Europe. Managers with that sort of draw (ie players want to play for them) are few and far between. I'd guess we're looking at the likes of Van Gaal, Hiddink, Rijkaard, Mourinho and a few others.

right why is this being asked! if we do sack him after hamburg (if we dont get through) then which top quality manager is going to come to us when they probably have a Chance of winning something still this year?!
