a Refreshing change

Good entertaining match in my opinion , and a good advert for Premiership football ..... i don't think either side tried to kick the other off the park , in the way that some other sides over here try to do , and Swansea played some good stuff , their passing game took precedence with them.

I didn't have a problem with the said 'time-wasting' problem spoken about in other posts here.... it appeared to be a fairly fluent game to me.

We gained a lot of respect around the country for that. Outside of Bolton, the first weekend was marred with shite football and a hell of a lot of play acting.

I said this to my mates at full time. It's refreshing after all the controversy this weekend to see this game played in such a manner.

I noticed as well when watching the game back this morning, when Dzeko thought it was handball he just asked the ref, the ref said he didn't think it was he said okay gave him the thumbs up and carried on playing. This is what should happen all the time not like most players doing kicking up a fuss and acting like spoiled brats. Credit Dzeko.

Excellent post. The shame of it all is that the media no doubt saw what you saw, i.e. Dzeko acting in a sportsman like way, but do they give us good positive publicity ? do they b*llocks. Whislt the papers rightly poured praise on the team for their performance not one journo has commented on the lack of bookings and the overall lack of aggression and verbal abuse towards other players or officials. Oh well I suppose we want to much from the overpaid failed novelists. (is it one l or 2 ?)

But our overpaid mercenaries dont speak the language so cant dish out abuse ;)

I hope it is, both sets of players were excellent.

Mind you, there were some fans on the stairwell on level 2 (may have been coming from level 3) singing 'fuck off Tevez' or 'Tevez, Tevez fuck off home' etc, etc. Hope this does not continue.

Correct me if i'm wrong but i can't remember seeing a physio on the pitch either.

There's not many games these days where that happens.

i still think we should have stuck bellamy in there though, would be a joy to watch him rip swansea apart (probably end up getting red carded in the first half).

we really need to let this bellamy this bellamy that obsession go, he's city history.
