Been waiting to get on the computer for ages, my missus has been writing an essay all fricking evening

all I want to say is that its obvious all this outrage is out of jealousy from mainly the big four. Kaka's reported wage is equal to that of Beckhams at LA Galaxy (although his was tied in with his image rights if i remember rightly) and im sure there wasnt this much outrage.

Yeah its a lot of money but think about the tax that is going to be taken away from him - it ISN'T UK money that were paying him with, its eastern money coming into our economy, several hundred thousand each week. Also, with his wage, you dont think he's going to be buying products from other countries? as thats just plain stupid (although he doesn have the money too...) so thats going to be even more money coming into the UK economy.
Money which of course, the government will no doubt use up on john lewis lists and "think-tanks" and "reports" into the benefits of ID cards and other useless wank that our beloved MP's deem necessary and beneficiary for us.

Also, why is there not outrage about the reported fee's of useless non-entities like Ulrika johnson-sucker and Tewwy christian to sit on their fucking fat arses for weeks in a house NO FUCKING REASON than to piss people with an IQ over 20 off? fukck that! I read today in the metro Victoria Beckham was being paid 12 MILLION just to sit and photographed in her underwear, where's the disgust there? its bad enough that they can get away with flaunting their "scent" in a bottle - the very idea of celebrity fragrances is ridiculoso! I can go on for a very long time about.

Kaka will mean more to us city fans than anything these so called celeb's ever will to anyone else and that for me makes his wages and transfer fee justified.

Excellent post - the Beckham comparison is superb and puts things in perspective. My only worry is that buying Kaka makes an unbalanced team even more so and makes me wonder who is signing these players because if it ain't the manager then we're in all kinds of trouble.
