Fan two rows behind me was proudly at his first City game today. The question is, how? Couldn’t pick Manchester off a map, let alone the Etihad or Moss Side.

To get 8 seats together, you would need to be club partner / sponsor or be very senior in City’s management / admin. Known for very close ties with Barcelona.

I do think there is enough lifelong Blues in the standby to give City better verbal backing, but the piss taking by the tourists has gone too far.

Club doesn't give a flying fuck wether fans at the game live in a Manchester postcode or not!!!

As long as the seat is sold is all that matters to them.

The business model is based around tourists and day trippers. None of us local fans would stay over in the hotel facility they are developing. Or spent a shit load on memorabilia in the club shop every home game.

Unfortunately - as per the protests outside both stadia today - the ONLY "supporters" PL clubs give a fuck about these days are those willing to pay over the odds (and spend in the club shop)
Happened to see Middlesbrough/Hull on tv yesterday, plenty of seats available there. Like others on here, sadly, I'd take being relegated to see our true fan base return.
