Appreciate your effort Alex however I feel this needs addressing as a statement rather than through yourself. They will just look to brush the City Matters away.
Corrected for you.
Well done Alex.

They'd have to jib in thenDoubt they would have got the tickets for a start
I posted what was sent me. At the time I was fuming thinking 36 years and out. As I said PB has said its bollocks and he knows a lot more than me so I'm hoping it was somebody on the wind up ( don't know why they would do that)I thought you were the Blue who’s told everyone it’s true. If you are taking it back, it’s up to you.
Appreciate your follow up. However, this was NOT just a few older blokes wearing another team's shirt. I was not there but from the video and a few "eyewitness" accounts here, they seemed to be taking the piss and trying to make a spectacle. These men seemed to be aware they were being cocks and revelling in it.Having spoken to the Club they have acknowledged the tickets were taken from their own regular Club allocation for this match, noting that fans wearing shirts of any team other than Manchester City is not appropriate. The Club have assured me that this will not be repeated, which I am keen to see in practice.
That said, I recognise the wider concerns that fans have around ticketing transparency and safeguards, which I will continue to pick up.
Big wigs at our club are Catalan. These fellas were wearing Barcelona tops. Tickets came from the club's allocation. The FBI would call that a clue. :)Nice to see someone fighting the good fight mate.
Do we know if any of these "fans" were related to any club big wigs?
To let you know, I was not trying to insult you. I was just having a little fun, mate.Nice to see someone fighting the good fight mate.

You'd have thought whoever gave his Barca friends the tickets from the club pool would have told them not to wear their Barcelona shirts, and instead wear City shirts, or scarfs, or just their normal clothes, jumper, coats.
That’s why they should have been put in their place at AnfieldIf they ARE relations of one or more of the higher ups they wont be punished in any way, they'll just laugh it off.
