A s**t away end full of tourists

As a fan base we need to make it uncomfortable for these who turn up and look like they actually supporting the home team

We should be telling to put the phones away or fuck off

This. 100%. Some **** at the last home game watched more of the game through his phone than. Fuck those people.

No it's not.

Late 80's and 90's we (and everyone else) were given full ends and they were never full. Neither were the home ends either.

People get blinded by the popularity of top PL football these days, it hasn't always been like this.
I've said before that early in Mancini's tenure we played at Boro in the FA Cup 3rd round. It was a 3pm kickoff and I bet we sold no more than a third of the tickets. Weather was absolutely shite but people didn't know that when the tickets went on sale.

It's only the last 10 years where demand has exceeded supply. i wonder why?

When Salah scored, a young lad to my right started screaming at some tourists for taking photos, but in doing so, slipped over the seat in front of him, and somehow smashed his face with blood pouring from his nose and requiring medical attention

Summed up the day.

They'll not be happy until our away support looks like this.

Need at least one blue parasol unless it's the orange and green 8th kit that day

I’m guessing, but I’m 100% confident I’m right

Those 8 Barcelona fans haven’t got 1 genuine away loyalty point between them.

But they’ve got a Catalan mate or Catalan mates at City.
For sure, and they haven't been online for hours waiting for their purchase window to open.

It is what it is and there is far more to worry about at the moment than this, as shit as it is.

I think as a minimum the Club will advise people in this situation not to wear other team colours in future!

they'd laugh their tits off and say fuck you most likely.

it cost nowt on the internet and now you want us back?
And beer is peanuts in supermarkets. And they will deliver it. Why bother coming back?

To be fair I think pricing and the way tickets are allocated is the biggest issue right now for fans of most clubs. We’re being priced out and what’s the point in success if you can’t get tickets to watch.

Indeed it is.

It’s not massively important what we win, where we are in the league, even what league we’re in… the most important thing is the fanbase.

It isn't bollocks. I never said it was consistent but I used to keep my fingers crossed I'd get an away ticket and I would sometimes lose out because we didn't take the extra 1,500. Happened for a game at Chelsea back in 2007, when I was living down in West London and I missed out. And that was a 3pm kickoff.

And even without having the top points, I could get tickets for the game at Anfield back then
It was Baltic, think we sold about 2300 out of 5000 available. Reduced allocations were seen at all over the country, the team was poor and the prices ridiculous, I earnt 1000s of points in this era, anyone of a certain age could have easily done the same but places like Wigan and Bolton even saw modest City followings due to cost

Iv always agreed with most of your posts blue , I like you, care for our local tradional fans and couldn't give one fuck for all our recent JCL and plastics, they come a big distanced 2 nd to all our woes.

Let's hope it doesn't happen but I'd give anything for that Hamburg atmosphere again.. proper blues in every part of the the ground and an inflatable Fergie face penis to throw around the East Stand.

Imagine trying to get Fergie cock into the Etihad now. And even if you did get Fergie cock into the Etihad uninflated, and blew Fegie cock up inside the Etihad, the stewards would be all over you. You and Fergie cock would be ejaculated. ;-)

The good old days before the people running City began sanitising the Etihad.

Just type City v Utd into your browser and see what comes up! Tickets for EVERY stand, EVERY section, home (loads), away (not so many but £375!). Must be sanctioned by the club(s), who are surely making extra cash somehow.
You’d hope the regulator will sort this shit out but, as it seems money talks in football at least as loudly as everywhere else, I’d imagine it’s a forlorn hope.
Funny how streaming the game gets you banged up but selling a £30 away ticket for £300+ is perfectly acceptable……….

The club has failed many loyal fans .
I wonder if there's been meetings upstairs to get this to this direction. "Well they spend here" "well they can sit here".

Surely its so utterly stupid to alienate hardcore fans who bring atmosphere. That's what draws more people to the club, and thus more money and provides what the tourists want, I can't imagine they want silence unless I'm completely wrong.

I'm not just blaming tourists for silence either but just give those who want to chant, in large numbers, the opportunity to sit together.

Is that not football in general though. Not a patch on what it used to be every action under a microscope looking for any reason to give a fan a ban because it offends someone somewhere or it could cause bad press.

Coincided with ticket prices this is equally the biggest factor that has put people off, being reported and having tickets suspended for just standing it’s ridiculous and tragic. It’s a big part of all our lives but I’d be lying if I say I’m not becoming tired of it all.

Would it not be easier if every club gave each other say 150 corporate seats in a away corporate section, then let them outbid and shaft each other , and let the seat tickets go to those genuine fans who actually deserve it.
