A s**t away end full of tourists

After the Paris champs league final they made very public their complaints. They got their MP stooges like Ian Byrne involved. If there is tragedy chanting they make public statements immediately, and they engage with Spirit of Shankly etc.

We have radio silence all year round. Our mob said fuck all about Istanbul. They’ve never once said anything to our supporters about 115.

It would be so easy to fix it but nobody at City is interested.
It's like politics. If you dont stick your head above the parapet, things go on as normal. They don't kowtow to sheer numbers, it's often the noisest and most burdensome who get their way.

Saw an earlier poster call it an English problem, as opposed to the french who take it to the mat when there's even a slight issue.

I'm not saying this as a finger pointing exercise as I personally have done fuck all. But my zebra striped pants are ready to go.

It could well be

However I was at Clanfield on Sunday and saw the Barca mob, I also commented on Twitter in response to the video of them

The person at the club I have known for years and they wrote to me on Monday themselves without me asking the club for a explanation

They simply said there were ‘ructions’ at the club

‘Serious questions being asked’ and ‘a lot of complaints received’
Cheers for sharing. Glad to hear it’s caused ructions cause it’s a major embarrassment.

The Barca 8 has caused some issues at the club

It is being looked into

I had a message from someone who works there saying it has caused trouble at the club
Those 8 also knew exactly what they were doing

All openly wearing Barca shirts and laughing at people filming them

They knew it would piss a lot of people off

You don't think we're very close to a scenario where fans who are taking the piss (wearing away shirt etc.or celebrating the wrong team) or in the wrong place at the wrong time getting attacked? I've heard many stories and seen first hand violent clashes and suspect it's going to get worse before it gets better.

Yes, they were deliberately taking the piss, whoever passed them the tickets should be hung out to dry imo.

Arguably its what needs to happen for the club to wake up and stop this nonsense, somebody gets a proper pasting and their ticket purchase is traced back to the club via a "agency partner" and the club will have a lot of questions to answer.

Only getting worse no transfering of tickets to friends and family next season and all away matches are going to a ballot.
We keep our ST’s on one phone, friends & family have access details & log in when they need to use it, then delete after the game

Just remembered that for the Feyenoord game we were told that anybody passing their ticket to an away fan could face a ban

Will whoever it was in the club who got these lot tickets be in the same kind of trouble?
They should be, a public apology is the very least that should be demanded.

Will probably say it's been dealt with, and swept under the rug. The sentiment upstairs is probably that we're too stupid and powerless to actually challenge them.

They probably laugh about it and think "what are they going to do?"

That's just how I see it personally.

Unless football fans from every club come together to demand things there is a lot of truth to this, we are having it stolen from right under our noses.

Let me get this right: City fans have been complaining about tourists in the away section for years but the club did nothing, yet "serious questions" are asked because of a bit of embarrassing publicity. Does that mean the club has just been ignoring the concerns of the fans for several years?

Yes.

Maybe there's a subtle difference between a tourist wearing a half and half scarf and (half heartedly) supporting City and eight smug twats openly laughing at city fans whilst wearing the shirts of a club that's been part of our hateful enemies trying to destroy us for years. Both are wrong by the way but one is far more wrong

I hope it happens. I'm really hoping we form a supporters union, to challenge the club aggressively.

A few more tweaks to the chumps league and we will have the ESL via the back door, add the World Club Cup to that and they get what they want, hell Pep admittedly threw the League cup under the bus this season and he'll do the same for the FA cup too.

We can't stop it unless we physically throw the parasites out of our clubs if they don't make it for the fans.

That happened 2 minutes after I got back on the coach and was right next to the window where my seat was. I didn’t see it as I wasn’t looking and only noticed something had happened when I heard the commotion. One of the other lads on our coach saw it as he was walking almost alongside him. He did fuck-all wrong. There were some other Liverpool fans gobbing off but it wasn’t him. Someone dived off the coach behind ours and sparked the fan out from behind. The guy on our coach who saw it all said his head hit the floor with a sickening thud. Liverpool fan or not, proper ****’s trick that. He was out cold for a good 4 or 5 minutes. There were City fans trying to justify an innocent fan being knocked out ffs. One said he stumbled before he hit the floor which was utter horseshit.
Judging from your description I think I was on the coach in front of yours.
I was one of the first back and I just wish I'd filmed the 3-4 minutes of stupidity.
It would have made a brilliant documentary about tolerance levels and provocation.
Like you, I didn't see the actual punch, but I just knew that somebody would snap
