A salutary lesson for our Academy players; Terry Dunfield

These Arabs have fucked up your academy totally. Young players will no longer be given a chance, and City have had some great players coming through the academy lately. Such a shame for you lot.

pride of merseyside ? that is totally the wrong name for you as all genuine scouse football fans will be cringing at your stupid pathetic remarks. tosser of merseyside more like. The Academy that you talk about being ruined has just had 3 players represent England in the F.A. under 17's International Tournament, which we won incidentally. Go crawl back under your giro.

Anyway to sensible people reading this, Dunfield should take a lot of credit for being honest and open about HIS failings. It is something that all youngsters should be given to read in an attempt to keep their heads screwed on. All the best Terry.

Great read that, Terry has been given a second chance and looks like he's grabbing it with both hands.
Good luck to him

That's a good story, and I'm glad he's back playing. Vancouver ain't too shabby a city to ply your trade either, so good luck for the future Terry.

Our Academy has been and always will be a huge part of our club and anyone who doubts that just needs to watch this space.

People stop biting, because Pride has caught himself a haul already.

Pride Of Merseyside isn't that Liverpools LGBT festival???

It's a familiar story but young gifted kids don't listen to this stuff! It was a different era then. Now all you have to do is have one good season and you get rewarded with a 50K a week 5 year deal - instant millionnaire.

Look at Johno, half a good season under Sven and City offered him a 50K a week contract. I don't blame City for this, plenty of other clubs were ready to offer him the same deal.

Hopefully he'll get over the injury and fulfil his potential.
