A sincere apology to the Mancini outers.

Good morning.

I apologize most sincerely to those of you who participated in this thread under the impression that it was in any way connected with an apology about Roberto Mancini and Manchester City. This was due to an error in the title of the thread itself. This thread is in fact called, "Pleasures of the Dance", a collection of Norwegian carpenter songs compiled by Oscar Tritt.

=====

Good morning, we apologize for the previous apology. This apology was unnecessary and appeared on this post owing to an administrative error. This thread is not as stated in the previous apology, "Pleasures of the Dance", a selection of Norwegian carpenter songs, but a new thread regarding the Antics of Roberto Mancini and Manchester City FC.

That Mancini?! What a card! And what he did to the club?! Gaw, luv a duck!

=========

We apologize for that short extract from the "Antics of Roberto Mancini and Manchester City FC" which appeared on this thread of " A Sincere Apology to the Mancini Outers" owing to the same administrative error which resulted in the first apology. The rest of this thread is now totally taken up with....

"George and Billy Don't Really See Eye to Eye"

Subject: Mancini On Soriano

"To the City supporters and to the English football community as a whole, the dedicated, charismatic Mancini will always be remembered fondly. He won two major trophies. He won 6-1 at Old Trafford. He took City into the Champions League. Away from the pressures of the training ground, he was terrific company, generous and loved by those he encountered in his favourite city centre Italian restaurant. In many ways, he deserved better than to be deserted by players in whom he had invested so much hope."

Even Ladyman tried to soften the smears he was fed.

Dave is more important than the whole world? Goodness gracious me .

This from a Cabal elder who has devoted the last three and half years to execrating and villifying Mancini at every conceivable opportunity! Now Billy has rashly revealed the dark secret hidden behind the Isco stone in the heart of their cave, (known only to the chosen group from which even Dave has been cruelly excluded.)
We are now told Mancini has committed a a crime, so horrible, so damning, hitherto unexposed in the torrents of Cabal abuse over the years, the crime that dare not speak its name! So what is his worst transgression that nobody but you lot know about? The crime that makes all his others pale into insignificance. When did it happen - three and a half years ago? The silence tells us all we need to know.
their silence continues as do the baseless smears.

Sometimes it's better not knowing George. There's a lot of love for Mancini and I wouldn't want to be the guy who once and for all shattered all those beautiful illusions. :)What's important is that the club have collectively exhaled and moved on from Roberto. I personally think its to their credit that they never responded to Mancini's baseless smears about executive incompetence with some cold hard facts.

You mean hearsay of baseless smears..

did you tell them both that teddy had committed an unspeakable act for a laugh?
No, just one of them. That's why they're fighting.

Basic rules of conflict GH :-)

But you had to pick a side though didn't you?

Tell you what, you PM me the grisly details of Mancini's secret crime in the strictest possible confidence and you can rely on me to do the honourable thing.
Where have I said it was a crime? I said I found it disappointing, but that it didn't make me hate him or diminish his achievements in my eyes.

I have also said that it might not be true, which is why I haven't revealed the "grisly details".

One not so grisly detail is that, as reported, it occurred on my dad's 77th birthday, if that helps at all.

Blimey,how different posters see it mate.. the way Billy is going on, Hannibal Lecter is involved somehow..
I get the feeling that drastic drama queenery is going on here to somehow gain"I know something you dont know" one upmanship in the thread..eh Billy ;)

The last time someone said to me "I know something you dont know" I wiped a bogey on their rusk and gobbed in their milk.. ;)

This is the best post in this thread.

Pellegrinii talks a good talk.
Let's see the walk before saying he's the bees knees. It will be the end of October at the earliest before I even think about how good he is.

It should also be pointed out, that with the £90m+ spent on some rather tasty signings, that (as things stand - comparing with the current spend of other teams) we now have the best squad in the Prem so should win it or come very, very close.

There are 28 days left in the Transfer Window so anything could happen. By 3rd September we could be out-and-out favourites or third favourites. Plus there's no way I could make decisions on how good he is in just two months. My evaluations will be after one full season and even then I won't be going overboard either way if he's done we'll or done poorly, as it's his first season.

If United were to sign Fabregas and/or Ronaldo they'd probably leapfrog over us into the favourites position.
