There is Sam. It's called common courtesy. Wishing someone's family well. I'm close to mine and I know shb is very close to his too. Takes the edge off what is otherwise a very divisive subject. The fact I had to explain that or that you felt the need to ask is tragic.

Im just jealous cos youve never enquired about mine,in fact I cannot find any enquiry from you about anyone elses family..
