Loose will still get through when you mean lose you cretins.

Spelling can be learnt and is less important than being able to read between the lines

Yeah, read between the lines

i hate it if someone i don't know and will never meet gets his spelling wrong, even when i understand what they are trying to say, if they are making a wonderful point it really ruins it for me if they put there instead of their or the like, so much so in fact i have considered creating a thread about it myself,
anyway is it tomato or tomato ?

So, if you are dyslexic you are an idiot. Nice

Dyslexia is something I will probably never understand. It's increasingly used as an excuse for poor spelling.

Imagine you have dyslexia. I tell you that 'lose' is spelt with one 'o'. I make you write this down 100 times, and then recite 'lose' has one 'o' 100 times. Surely then you've learnt it? Next time you need to write 'lose' you'll think: 'I know there's only one 'o' in lose because I was taught that.'

My point is that if you are taught that a word is spelt a certain way, writing it the wrong way is down to poor memory rather than 'dyslexia' isn't it? I'm absolutely not having a go at dyslexics here - I would appreciate it of one could help me understand the condition.

You can't learn every word in that fashion, so folk spell as they say words, which quite often is the wrong spelling.

What a complete moron you are.
