A story from comedian Chris Mcglade’s new book that I think City fans will enjoy...

Chris,
A lovely story. You have a more poignant story that you did not mention. Take my hat off to you.Losing your Dad that way was horrendous. I agree with your views on political correctness totally. The world is mad. Bless you Smoggy.
What was the poignant story Bert?

I did say it was the early 2000’s and put a question mark? I couldn’t remember the year exactly...
Nice one Chris

Great story, City didn’t play at the stadium until 2003 though mate.
He is a " Thick Geordie Fu*ker))" lol He actually did a do for us us the first season we played there against the rags .We didn't have a normal event as the old bill would have been on top .So we just kept it quiet and had about 3 coach fulls including wives girlfriends ect. He only just finished his act when someone's phone went & about 40 lads got up to leave .Chris shouted out something like " you've had your instructions give em a kicking" or somet like that lol

Great story, City didn’t play at the stadium until 2003 though mate.

Chris was booked into a club at Newton Heath one night ,a Workingmans club or social club or somet like that
We went to a pub after but police were all over the place as someone had been shot
He thought "What the fu*k"
