now that we're on the other side of a defensive, "anti-football" match, maybe we should quit lambasting the Birminghams, Blackburns, and West Broms of the world for doing the same thing at ours, with significantly, significantly less talent?

Think it's just real hypocritical and makes us look like mugs when we complain that these mid-to-bottom club tables fighting for their Premiership lives come to COMS and set up shop in front of their goal. Just a thought.

Mate, I (for one) have never complained about that "type" of approach. I never complain about teams that use their forwards rumbling along and taking it into contact phase after phase, slowly recycling, and eating up the clock or trying to get field position, or suck in the opposing forwards and all that. Doesn't bother me. It doesn't happen all the time. It's got it's own points...I mean, there IS still competitiveness, skill, and nouse on display.

Most of the posts I read following those games were havin a pop at City for not being able to break these teams down....'too negative' 'poor finishing' etc etc...we know teams will park the bus...we gotta work out a way round that.
I have no gripe with teams coming here for a point.

I have no problem with how other teams play. It's the beauty of English football. Stoke have a style as do Blackburn, Arsenal & the Rags. The good thing is that we have more than one style unlike other teams. Having a plan B is a beautiful thing & so is being a City Fan! C.T.I.D!
