A week to go

Absolutely excited, nervous, apprehensive, curious, impatient. All those things.

Be nice to sign a centre half, but I'd understand if the club chose not to go down that route.

Beyond that the balance of the squad is bang on. The players we have in all positions are quality.

All down to Manu now to get the team ready and get them to deliver. Knowing what I do about his previous teams and the way they've played - I feel confident that with the tools at City he will do something not just successful, but special.

I just hope that pre-season is no real pointer , because ours has been a bit 'indifferent' to say the least , and we've shipped far too many goals ........ mind you the rags pre-season was hardly any better.

I'm looking forward to the Newcastle game very much .... i doubt that Pellegrini knows his best side as of yet , and he may well even be adding to it before the window shuts , but we need to keep up with the title pacesetters right from the 'off' ... you lose serious ground , at any stage , and you immediately make life difficult for yourself.

Got knots in my stomach already...this week is going to drag

This and I can't even watch it! the game would be on 2:30 PM in the states while I am at work. I'll have to listen to the BBC radio stream from the OS.

I'm more excited for the start of this season than the last for some reason, reckon it will be a bumpy start though with Pellegrini implamenting his ideas.

Probably got to do with the great signings and new direction from new manager. It's like a fresh team. Really looking forward to it :)
