Is he a London lad? He'll probably go to Spurs or Chelsea.

Happy with Walker and Danilo at RB, we have more pressing needs - a Fern replacement and a left back who isn't injured every other game.

Think Danilo be of, so Id be looking at a back up for that position or have a look at Bolton in the summer preseason again
 
I wouldn't say any of the full backs we have signed are particularly good. Mendy could be but is injured too often. He is the best in an attacking sense. Walker is so good because of his pace but doesn't get good numbers in terms of assists and relies on pace to defend.

What I am getting at is the fact that Zinchenko has done such a good job, do we need to bother spending big money on a full back when we have talented kids with a lot of pace and probably better technique than who we have starting now, that could come in and do a job.

Suppose Zink could fill in at right back as well if we get Mendy back for most of the season and Danilo leaves but I feel Pep would want more cover.
 
This lad up until a few weeks ago had the best stats at RB/RWB in the league he is not in the team of the year, not playing for a rival so is accessible and not on a huge wage, it is madness not to upgrade when you can, plus he is English and young
It would be madness for him not to push for a move to us, Champions, pay well, best manager,and the team most likely to win more
 
Think he'd be an excellent long term signing but not sure he'd move to be backup to Walker. Walker is a physical machine so very little rotation. Can also see United doing a Sanchez/Fred job and offering him double the money.
 
Excellent defensively, but whats he like on the ball? Walkers not great adittedly but he can usually ping a pretty decent cross field pass.
 
Really hope we get this man - already looks fantastic and still you would think has a while to go before he hits his full potential.

It's all right saying that we're OK at right back currently with Walker and Danilo - that's true but it was that kind of thinking that led to the major issues we had with full backs a couple of seasons ago. This would be a great step to ensuring this doesn't happen again.

About him playing backup to Walker - I honestly don't think playing second fiddle here for one season would harm him, whilst he learns what Pep wants. Then I think he'd possibly be ready to displace him. Baring in mind Walker would be 30 by then.

I think he’d replace walker shortly after arriving. I think he’s too quality and walker makes big errors
 
Should this all be in the “players we have no link to three” because I can’t for the life of me find anyone linking him with us!

Hope we can sign him though I always feel like walker has a big error in him! Hopefully it doesn’t happen over the next 4 games
 
well according to Adrian Durham on TS yesterday the deal has already been done for him to go to the scum, best be locking the thread mods ;-)
