Aarrrrrrgh my metatarsal

I play 7 a side weekly. The playing surface is artificial,some of these kids wear blooming stud boots and caught me with them last week, stepped on foot, I wear astro type runners. I thought it was just a sore foot until back playing tonight where it actually felt like I was running on a broken toe. Feeling about tonight I found out it is the metatarsal below my left little toe. It's very sore walking downstairs, lol. Should these kids be permitted to wear stud boots. I had a right mouthful for one of them tonight when again I was caught by studs. Not happy. If I wore boots myself would they offer my foot more protection? Cheers lads

I think i have done my achilles heel insertion which according to internet searches may mean i can never run again properly which after 3 months slog to get fit again is pissing me off no end

If it's the latter, completely fine and really you ought to invest if it's on 3G pitches. If the it's the initial, they shouldn't actually be on there.

Same problem as you with being stood on with blades and studs. I bought the metatarsal socks only at available at pro direct soccer. Work wonders
