What I like about that Romano is when he says 'here we go' it's fucking happening. May be a tap in merchant but as far as Twitter rumour mongerers go he's the original and the best.

unfortunately true doyles lack of pace has been exposed as a left back but I do like him. Be OK alongside a quick un great on the ball could see him playing a Stones like role could possibly cover dmNeither have the pace we need to replace Walker’s with.

Sliding tackle FC
I thought the same but so many fans on here seem to like. I don’t mind this in desperate situations, but personally as a winger in the past I hated the sliding tackle from defenders especially on a wet pitch as they used to mistime tackles and it wasn’t great for my knees.
This type of defender is not what we are used to in a Pep team. Anyway a lot of rumours at present linked to many teams. Not necessarily going to happen.

To be fair, Dias loves a slide. So did Stones before Pep got hold of him. And Otamendi was always odds on for a slide tackle.

Seems Mendes has given us the heads up that's he's available and we've taken advantage.
