that's a good vid cheers mate

He's really shown good quality there,

Academy my arse..

Sorry but if he is as good as some on here think then he will be given a chance.

Just like how Rekik played v Reading or Lopes came on v Watford.

Reported attitude problems etc might mean he is putting in 50% in training, maybe he did the same on loan and that's why he was brought back.

Then why buy Rodwell/Garcia when the kid has done nothing wrong and has shown promise i just dont understand. Surly if we have a great academy we should be using it for temporary fixes (which give them experience and confidence) till the seniors recover from injuries or bans. Im new to the football culture but in the states academies(universities) build the players up then they throw them in the deep end. it keeps cost low and helps find that new superstar potentially.
Perhaps the coaching staff don't rate him as highly as some fans do, and they see him training day in, day out, unlike fans.

Its the same with Guidetti obsession, if he's good enough he'll get on the bench or in the team. The most likely reason they aren't picked, is that the coaching staff don't think they merit a place, and you don't just pick youngsters because they're young and promissing, they need to as good as those that are being replaced.

You make a good point, but I still think if he's not 'good' enough, then why hasn't he been loaned so he can improve. And while people may cite his attitude as one of his biggest problems, even if a Prem club isn't interested, I'm pretty sure there must be a Spanish/Italian team interested in him.

But Guidetti isn't back to full fitness, until it is confirmed that he is elligible for selection then we can judge if he is good enough. He confirmed in an interview that he is now 4th choice striker and he got a contract extension, so he must be good enough for a spot on the bench.

Do you think that we are are not loaning him on purpose?

We have loaned him out and bar a few good performances for Brighton it seems like he was pretty average. Clubs pick up on this and they will know for sure if the attitude problems are true or not as well as if they really need a young and inexperienced midfielder in their team.

The staff see the players every day and they are surely the ones qualified to make the decision if Razak should/can be loaned or if Suarez is getting stale in the EDS.

As fans we see them for 90mins or less every week.

How is it a "fucking disgrace"?

The ages between 16-21 are developing years.

In the last two seasons he has started 25 games and has had no long term or even short term injuries. You won't learn anything starting an average 12 games a season when you are 19/20, especially when 4 of them were with the EDS.

I'll tell you why its a fucking disgrace. The guy did the business for a team in the lower leagues... Yeah you might have a point... Good luck to him in the future though and lets hope its for the blues.

Seems to typify our current academy situation. Either we have a serious problem creating links with clubs (Players like Suarez being left to rot is a disgrace) or we are massively overrating our players. I personally think it's the former, we need to hire someone who can actually create a relationship with a team.
