They always "assumed" that he had enough money and would just walk away without asking for it back, but that was when his personal fortune was over £10 billion.
If his fortune dwindles much more then he will have to sell Chelsea for more than £1 billion to get his money back plus a little profit, there is a further £150 million debt in loans.
All the SKY 4 are in HUGE financial trouble, their sums just don't add up. It might not be apparent now, but as the saying goes - "When the tide goes out you can see who's been swimming without their trunks on."
Roman's business fortune has shrunk to the £2b mark, but his personal fortune, the money that is 'his' and not tied up in business is around the £11b mark, and its his own pocket that funds Chelsea.
Unfortunaly it is again the media grabbing 1 half of a story and juicing up the second part to make it semi newsworthy.
