I'm not really here
As a kid in the 80s/90s, I used to go to this barber. I remember that he would press his bits against my hand whilst cutting my hair, then charge me less than the full price. At the time, I was too innocent/naive to really recognise it for what it was so I never did anything about it.

Just wondering whether he was like that to others and whether or not he got caught out in the end?

Did he used to offer you something for the weekend?

It wasn’t Dave the shave? Loads of random blokes walking through the shop to go upstairs?

Is it still open?

Cannot say I have ever been to failsworth bar the pole twice, so never experienced your barber.

We had a great barber at the top of my street in Abbey Hey, Roy Grundys, was a lovely fella and cut generations of peoples hair in the area, mamy were lost when hos shop finay closed (he had retired and his business partner kept it going for a while).

Can say none of that went on in Grundys, good honest gent and a treasure to the community, city fan too
