I'm curious to hear some of your thoughts about this

I must say that those chants from AC Milan ultras weren't racist but territorial and against Napoli

The line is very thin between banter and "insulting chants"


Thoughts?
 
The way football authorities go about punishing racism is all wrong, because it shouldn't be up to football bodies to administer said punishment! It isn't a football club's fault if the people in that town are racist; it's a social problem, not a football problem. Obviously, the clubs should ban the fans who are racist, but punishing the actual club for society's failings is unfair.

Well, I think they also sung songs like ....

"Vesuvio bruciali tutti" (Vesuvio burn them all)

"Vesusio lavali col fuoco" (Vesusio, wash them with fire)

And Napoli ultras replied insulting themself with a "Napoli Colera" banner "Now close our stadium as well" in support of Ac Milan supporters

AC Milan is not Milano. You say "Milanista figlio di puttana" and not "Milanese figlio di puttana"
AS Roma is not Roma. You say "Romanista pezzo di merda" and not "Romano pezzo di merda"
Same for Inter, Lazio, Juventus.
But SS Napoli is Napoli. Supporters of Napoli who don't come from Napoli region or have parents who came from Napoli are really rare.
Napoletano is the supporter, napoletano is the person who live in Napoli.

I didn't like when i here chants against Napoli, especially when we are not playing against Napoli. But still,not a reason to ban the hole stadium.
