I took my kids to this and they really enjoyed it (even if we did leave 10 mins early.)

I think City will want to try and do more of this and get us in to that culture of watching youth/EDS games so they can sell cheap tickets and sell out the 7000 seater training ground stadium once its finished.

Good training of the kids to get them leaving early and missing great goals :)

hahaha no I suppose you are right and especially as it was a massive crowd that would delay you by a few minutes at least. I agree it's vitally important to get home by 9.20 and not 9.30

Or make sure they are at home early enough on a school night. Probably might be worth bringing the kick off forward a bit to say 7pm if you want to get the kids in.

Just back from the match, thoroughly enjoyed watching the kids play in the same way as the first team. They knock the ball about with confidence and break the other team down with slick passing.
Well done to Burnely youth who made it an entertaining game.
Respect to the 1000 Burnley Fans who made the trip across to the Ethiad.
36000 season ticket holders and only approximately 1800 can be bothered to turn up for a free fixture to see 2 players that have already played for the first team and hopefully many more that will do.

You've got to coach them early. I also showed them how to moan about every sidewards pass, abuse Pozo and Lopez for not tracking back and then how to have a crafty fag in the toilets at half-time.
