Years ago I worked in sales and we'd have someone on the team not scoring so they'd go on another team, sometimes one the manager didn't need or expect to do so well and in that team they'd be scoring more than others on their team. The confidence that came from that usually helped them continue this form. Sometimes they'd feel like top man on that team and eventually start team leading which again brought more confidence.I'm confused as to why we seem to have a fair few ex academy kids doing well at other clubs.

It’s a proper hindsite issue but I think we need to seriously review it when Viana arrives. No way we should be diving into the market without assessing the academy and it does feel that’s not been the case from the outside looking at just how many players have left and gone on to success elsewhere. We really should be using the loan system far better in the future than we have been to blood players in the league before deciding to cash in.
