Just got back from the gym, and my parents sat me down to have a chat, they think I spend too much time doing nothing active (apart from the gym and golf). They think that I spend all of m time either watching football, on bluemoon, or talking about it. They argued that I almos never get out at the weekends as I watch almost ever football match and CITY match on tv. Must admit in a way that CITY for me is a way of life ( how sad that might seem) but anyway try are starting to get pissed off at the fact I don't socialize with friends as much as I used to, although saying that, none of my main friends actually like football, which is a bit of a shame. They think I'm in an ever enclosing circle of what my life revolves around, CITY and football. Well, I mean since I'm sixteen I can hardly go to re pub like some of my mates do, which is quite hard to take. But anyway, apparently my life revolves around two things according to my parents, CITY, and football

Anyone else feel, or have been told they are obsessed with CITY or football in general

Not as bad as getting "infatuated with Manchester City" on your divorce papers like someone I know.

GOOD.

mate you've got plenty of time for pubs when you're actually old enough to deal with the alcohol.

I suggest you do start acting more like a teenager and tell them to "back the fuck off" and get some crack like plant fetilizer up yer nose.

Only joking !!!!!! but on a serious note.....you are Scottish so perhaps start saving for a rehab clinic and get that ginger hair shaved off.

Mate, I wouldn't be talking to you now if I was Ginger

I think this obsession is commonplace. My wife says I love City more than her (which is true). My uncle was given a choice by his last wife - "City or me". Needless to say they're now divorced.

At weekends you should be getting pissed down the park with your mates with your hands down girls pants!

Divorce your parents and get them taken into care under the mental health act.... Win win situation if you ask me.
Or
Sit them down and say they have two options, you carry on the way you are not harming anyone and enjoying something you feel passionate about or you start lurking on the streets in a hoody beating up anyone who looks at you while you snort lines of your preganant slappers arse!

My guess is they want you out of the house so they can get some serious shagging done, you obviously haven't taken the hint ;

Joking of course...

WHY THE FUCK NOT ARE YOU INSINUATING THAT US GINGER PEOPLE CANNOT FUCKING TALK, THAT WE ARE SOMEWHAT INFERIOR THAN YOU LOT OF BLONDE AND BRUNETTE FUCKERS, WELL BOY I CAN CONFIRM YOU ARE FUCKING WRONG!! although I do have a bit of a temper problem.

What exacly is wrong in being obsessed with City?
I think it is a good thing to be obsessed with City.
To support the an underdog so strenuously instead of following the heard shows a person of strong morale fibre.
You seriously need to consider changing your parents, they seem socially inadequate.

thats really funny cos i got the same convo today from my mum and dad and also from my gf.Wake up saturdays bout 11.30 watch gillettte soccer saturday until its over then watch saturday evening match on espn probably and then watch motd.Go on bluemoon at least 20 times a day and spend most of my earned money (and theirs) to travel to city matches. My dad doesnt really mind as hes the same as me (its his fault he stuck the purple city jersey on me all those years ago)haha.

but in all seriousness i love the club rich or poor and there just my number one hobby, still go out and have a laf but city come first its just that simple.Ive even started to try and convince my parents to move back to manchester!!personally theres nothing better than a saturday or sunday sitting down and enjoying a day of football on the box!!

I broke up with my last girlfriend as she told me i thought about football and city more than her, i said that was bollocks and that i had loved every minute of the 6 seasons we had been together.

You nicked that from Sky, and it was a bad joke then. ;)

I think you will find i was saying this joke 2 seasons/years before Geoff Shreeves got his hand on it ;-)

my mum always says "your turning out like your father, obessed with city, and that doesnt go down to well with the females, thats one of the reasons i divorced him", so i say " if they dont like it, my right hand will do the job", well i dont actually say that to her but i think it ;)
