I wonder how long before they kill off Sean Bean and how he'll die this time.

It was a one off drama. Accused is back next week with another different story.

My mempry is not what it was but i think last series was 6, 1 offs (-;

Excellent again last night - good storyline - great acting

Indeed, great part played by the grandmother, when she ripped into the lad outside the shop, brilliant scene, not sure who's funeral it was originally, did they explain, was it his mums, or a gang member?

As for Anne-Marie Duff, cracking actress, much underused imo, she'll always be Fiona to me, most realistic character Shameless ever had, always thought it turned to farce after she left.

Must admit I missed the first series of Accused, I thought it was going to be like The Street, ie each episode being interlinked in some way or other, with an ongoing back story, not the case with Accused?

only thing I picked up was it was for one of the gang who got knocked down by a car

the original funeral was a gang member knocked off his bike and killed. they wanted all the shops shut as a sign of respect

Right cheers, missed that. Looking forward to next weeks already.

Most disappointing one so far. Most have been brilliant, Jimmy McGovern rarely fails to deliver, but I thought last night's was too cliched and "unrealistic".

SPOILER ALERT!

The kid who shot his mate really did not come across as "one of the gang", way too neat and tidy! And the gang leader looked like he's just come back from a Stone Roses concert circa 1991.

At least I found out how the police catch murderers now... they listen in to their conversations in the house via bugging equipment! Who'd have thunk that? If it was that easy, how come they didn't bug the gang leader's house a lot earlier!

I'm not sure someone brought up in an area like that would have had such principles about refusing to close the shop, bearing in mind she has to live in the community and abide by its "norms".

If she felt so strongly about it she should have cleared out years before.

It was inferred that the copper picked up on her reaction to reading the statement in the press conference, he would have needed that for probable cause to get the clearance for bugging the house. They catch quite a few out by letting them read or do pleas to the public so not too unrealistic.

If she had shut the shop it would have been a fairly short episode!!

But i agree, the lad didnt look like enough of a scally and the gang leader looked like the ones they have in soaps... Also why hide the gun in the shop, that annoyed me, height of stupidity...
