Billy Zane in back to the future
Heard Bob Hoskins talk about that scene on a talk show several years later, saying up to that point he’d never met Brosnan. Due to the latter‘s other filming commitments in LA at that time, his half of the scene had to be shot over there and Hoskins’ in the back of a car whilst being driven through the streets of London, which when you think of the intensity of the scene, is quite remarkable.Pierce Brosman plays an IRA hitman in The Long Good Friday![]()
I didn't realise Vin Diesel was in that film. I mean I did, but I had no idea who he was at the time, and then went back to watch it and realised who he was.Ted Danson in Saving Private Ryan
Not sure if anyone's posted this classic yet...
No idea what accent he's going for there.
Also starred in American Grafitti which led to the gig on a little film called Star WarsHarrison Ford, in a very minor role, appears in Apocalypse Now for just a few minutes. Don't think he achieved much after that.
wasn't he making more money as a carpenter making film sets than he was as an actor prior to getting the Star Wars gig? Also starred in American Grafitti which led to the gig on a little film called Star Wars
He was. The story is the actor who was supposed to audition with Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill didn't turn up and as luck would have it Ford was on the building doing a bit of carpentry work.wasn't he making more money as a carpenter making film sets than he was as an actor prior to getting the Star Wars gig?
Yes he got the part in Grafitti and was still a jobbing joiner, that’s his he got the scar on his chin. Got the job on Star Wars after Lucas invited him to do read throughs with other actors.wasn't he making more money as a carpenter making film sets than he was as an actor prior to getting the Star Wars gig?
